Song for Nibler
A brilliant songwriting effort from an outstanding indie artist written to give credit to his cheeky cat Nibler with “Song For Nibler” (Miss Pablo🐈‍⬛🙌💜 and the vast depth of amazing artists we have in our scene compelled this guy to mention this one)
Rob Harrowven · Song for Nibler ·Moving On
Another artist I've recently had the good fortune to be introduced to through the indie grapevine is Rob Harrowven Music- an indie artist who gives early Pink Floyd vibes along with his own unique artistic signature. Obviously Miss Pablo 🐈‍⬛ 🙌 💜 has had some influence on the song chosen here, as we find ourselves introduced to Rob's cat Nibler, from his latest album release "Moving On" First impressions is the quirky rhythmic design bubbling and moving this track along with slightly video game like synth work skimming the surface. Match that with the distortion on the guitar and all of these elements together brilliantly paints a great sonic image of a cheeky little cat named Nibler. After hearing both "Bangles" and "Song For Nibler" it's quite impressive how Rob manage to capture his pets singing on these tracks- it's kind of like an avant-garde tone poem, yet it is still very musical, original and authentic. Listening through "Song For Nibler" in my mind there is an immediate picture which forms in the mind that Nibler is one very cheeky cat and there's also clues throughout this quirky yet charming song that Rob has a wonderful friend in his pet Nibler. The purr at the end is quite brilliantly done- a musical flourish and a wonderful song has passed through your ears. “Song For Nibler” is certainly a charming and endearing song. Fantastic work from an artist who ultimately gives the impression of a genuine, very creative artist who puts so much of himself in the music.
