Often find myself very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to find out about so many fantastic artists from all around our globe through being involved as an artist myself with all the wonderful indie groups who give support and help you to discover others in our community you may not have heard of- and extra glad to have been introduced to this song “My Likes” in particular and the band “PuZL”…this track and indeed this band has had me captivated on first listen. An almost instant 90s indie feel like Ween or Cake or any indie band to surface during this period with a sense of the slightly odd yet very much humorous not taking themselves too seriously yet displaying a lot of seriously astounding creative and musical talents-hits you when this very catchy list of PuZL’s likes set to music envelops from those speakers and, find yourself drawn into this world where liking cats and kite and bikes, cool summer nights, little things that crawl (but not spiders…)…they like number 7(…and 13…and 21…) oh and sentences that run…who knew a list of likes could be so fun (couldn’t help it- that rhyming scheme is so darn catchy)- this is a brilliant and fun offering from artists I’m glad to have been given that opportunity to enjoy. Again who woulda thought a list of likes could be soooo much fun.
