1 Review for Phil Cook & the Fall Dogs
IRRELEVANCE DANCE
Nothing Irrelevant about this musical songwriting genius from our indie community-apart from the title and themes in this work of art from Phil Cook & the Fall Dogs
Phil Cook & the Fall Dogs · IRRELEVANCE DANCE ·IRRELEVANCE DANCE
Another lyrical and musical genius arises from an indie community which is abundant with musical and lyrical brilliance-something for us all to be so proud of…this time it’s the illustrious Phil Cook & the Fall Dogs with “Irrelevance Dance”- a super catchy tune with a beginning that stuns you-a vocal effect that rises in oddity yet a wonderful feature of this track…and we’re there in a land of a thousand dancing dancers dancing with a flurry and slight irrelevance (actually there’s nothing irrelevant (except maybe the theme of the lyrics)) about the actual musicianship and songwriting on display here-this is one fine example of catchy songwriting that will have your toes a tapping and your head bopping along to a spectacular combination of David Bowie mixed with Surf Rock, Rockabilly…or it could be referred to if you want to be true and correct as the inimitable music of PHIL COOK & THE FALL DOGS. Wonderful music and a fantastic piece of writing. Phil stuns us all when he reviews any song in his poetic voice and his guitar work, music and lyrics with the brilliant Fall Dogs are-as always-nothing less than spectacular.
