Creep Diet

I wrote this song about a compadre who was experiencing issues with a mix of meds and alcohol. The real them would slowly vanish as they imbibed and some sort of switch would turn on… like an autopilot.
It reminded me of others that I have encountered in similar situations. So, I decided to write a song about how I feel, or how I’d take this wildly different personality. You want them to know “hey, it’s me. I am grounded and you are out there… but I know you are still in there and I want you to know I’m here with you now, and hopefully we can work these kinks out”. Well, I tried to explain it. I hope you like it. The reality is that this song means exactly what you hear and what ever you believe it to be about is correct.
