What can i say about myself Born and raised on popular Laika greek music from the 50,s 60,s. Influenced heavily by the Greek artists of the day. And in the realms of western music Elvis Presley who else he was and still is the king. I guess it was when i experienced my first exposure to live bouzouki screaming through a fender twin reverb amp which hooked me as a child. Greek laika have always been there. Solid and rock steady and strong and deep rooted threw out my life and still are. So it was inevitable that one day i would be a singer. Also because my father had one of the best greek singing voices i ever heard. And i was lucky enough to get that gift from him. So when a well known greek band heard me sing and asked me to join them i jumped at the opportunity. Best thing i ever done. Started writting my own songs in my mid twenties. Long story how it came to be but thats a whole other chapter. Over the years i have written many songs and recorded a few too. But as with all of us born and raised in the uk the dream of stardom in greece seemed a distant dangerous and dark shark infested unrealistic unrealisable dream. Unless you had alot of money to hand over to the blood sucking record companies. Im just an ordinary working class kid still am. So for 30 years my songs have been gathering dust in a shoebox at the bottom of  my wardrobe until now. These last 10 years or so i have been forced by life's ups and downs to do alot of soul searching trying to find myself if you will. So refining and sifting through all of lifes challanges that i had to deal with I found the only therapy was for me the sweet sound of the blues. And so i dedicated my life studying the meaning the concept and the message of the blues. I have concluded that the blues be it Greek or English blues is all about real life strife hardship struggle heartache pain as interpreted by the individual sufferer. And so as a result the good lord above blessed me with my contribution to the blues. A song called "Still feel the rain" and i am proud  honored and privaliged to share it with you. Since that i was inspired to write more blues and Latin influenced songs many of which are now out there on all streaming platforms. What happends now? Well that story is yet to be written and its now up to you the listener. Forever grateful Eric Eracleous.
