The Sanctity Of Crows

The Sanctity Of Crows is an award-winning solo indie music project by Ian A Napier, who lives in Scotland. Mostly instrumental, often cinematic. Distinctive genre-agnostic flights high above the confluence of the two great rivers Prog and Post-rock. It's been said "most of this is truly unique", but some has been likened to Nine Inch Nails, Mogwai, God Is An Astronaut, John Carpenter, Pink Floyd, Rick Wakeman, Mike Oldfield, Simple Minds, The Verve and My Dying Bride. The debut album "Amidst the Gloom" was released in March 2024, followed by "Flowers of the New Dawn" (a symphony for electric guitars in six movements) at the end of October 2024. Ian continues to explore his creativity through music with new releases, and collaborations with artists such as HOLLOW WORDS, Sonia Hutchinson (of Crowsilver) and Jonathan Dawkins.
