About
Rob Bennett is a Kingston, Ontario–born songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer now based in Milton, Delaware. He began touring straight out of high school, spending several years on the road before pursuing formal studies. He later earned a Bachelor of Music from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on vocal and instrumental music.
Classically trained on guitar, Bennett went on to spend 30 years teaching instrumental and vocal music with the Durham District School Board while continuing to write and perform. After decades of balancing music alongside teaching, he returned with the time and focus to fully commit to his own work.
Today, Bennett writes, performs, records, mixes, produces, and masters all of his music from his home studio. His sound is guitar-driven and rooted in rock, informed by jazz, folk, and classical influence. His debut fully independent album, Introverted, marks that return — a patient, hands-on project shaped by experience rather than trend, with new material already in progress.

Echoes in the Night
Echoes in the Night
Sliding on my leather shoes,
I’m styling in my tailored blues,
Friday night is calling my name. (Yeah yeah)
When I leave, Ooooh, I’ll be gliding past the door,
I’ll be dancing on the floor,
On display. Ohhhh.
