About
The Sanctity Of Crows is an award-winning solo indie music project by Ian A Napier, who lives in Scotland.
Mostly instrumental, often cinematic. Distinctive genre-agnostic flights high above the confluence of the two great rivers Prog and Post-rock.
The debut album "Amidst the Gloom" was released in March 2024, followed by "Flowers of the New Dawn" (a symphony for electric guitars in six movements) at the end of October 2024 - two tracks from which reached top 5 positions in the Independent Artist Chart on Burton Radio. In December 2024, tSoC received the "Newcomer Of The Year" award from 'Neil On The Radio' for Smart Radio 101.
Ian continues to explore his creativity through music with new releases, and collaborations.

The Waiting Room - Radio Edit
Edit of a track from the next album "Time", where each track title references the concept of time in some way. When the nine titles were chronologically sequenced, they were found to manifest the endless cycle of birth, life, death and reincarnation.
The Waiting Room: Immediately after death, at different rates, the brain and organs and cells of the body feel the loss of everything needed for survival. There is confusion, then panic, and eventually resignation. Once there is acceptance, the vitality bound up in this life slowly dissipates into the universe.
