Where Light Lingers

"Where Light Lingers" is a collaboration of singer Miranda Aileen and Mike, the songwriter/producer of "The Sunflower Symphony". It was born of a desire to create more atmospheric soundscapes and experimentation with more electronic sounds. The duo creates cinematic songs that blend haunting melodies with emotional instrumentation. They met several years ago in a Reddit chatroom for songwriters, after comparing works they decided to try and work online together, resulting in 8-9 songs, while still keeping their individual projects alive (Miranda as "Miranda Aileen", and Mike as the musician side of the duo "The Sunflower Symphony"). Both consider it a side project with no deadlines or rush to completion that their individual brands usually call for. In addition, there are plans to make complete, extended versions of these songs into pure instrumentals as meditative works.
