SoundStone

SoundStone started out as a single song collaboration between the band Dashing Skull Club, whose members include guitarists Larry Cook and Aaron Leet, drummer Jake Pendley, and singer/songwriter Joe Booe. As the song developed, Aaron Leet of Dashing Skull Club asked Joe if he’d be interested in another song or two. Joe gave the songs a listen and was on board. As the debut single, Broken in Pieces, began taking shape, Aaron felt that keyboards and/or piano might really bring the sound together, and asked John O’Reilly aka Whiskey Club, to lend his capable chops to it. Upon completion of the song, the project felt like it had taken on life of its own, and with the rough vocals completed for a second song, everyone decided this needed to be a full blown band. Thus, SoundStone was born. The debut single, Broken in Pieces, released March 13 and the finishing touches to the follow up, Screaming in Colors, are being completed. We are SoundStone.
